This policy explains what information WebDeck collects, why, and what we do with it. WebDeck is run by Joe (referred to here as "we" or "us"). If you have any questions, email us at hello@webdeck.co.

What we collect

When you fill in our preview request form, we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, an optional phone number, your business name and area, an optional link to a current website, and your answers about what you'd like from a website.

We do not use analytics, tracking, or cookies on this site. We do not collect any information about you unless you choose to send it through the form.

Why we collect it

We use these details only to prepare your free website preview and to contact you about it. We do not use your information for anything else, and we will never sell it or share it for marketing.

Who can see it

Your form submission is delivered to us using Netlify, which hosts this website and passes your message to our email. Your details are also handled by our email provider as a normal part of receiving and storing your message. These providers process the information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep your details for as long as needed to build your preview and stay in touch about it. If you decide not to go ahead, you can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. To do any of these, just email hello@webdeck.co and we'll sort it out.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can also contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.

These are the terms for using WebDeck, a website service run by Joe ("we" or "us"). By asking us to build your preview and going ahead with the service, you agree to these terms. If anything here is unclear, email us at hello@webdeck.co and we'll happily explain.

The free preview

We'll design a website preview for your business at no cost and with no obligation. You're free to look at it and decide it isn't for you, and you won't owe us anything.

The service and the price

If you approve your preview, the service is £25 per month. That covers building your site, hosting it, your domain, ongoing maintenance, and small changes. There is no setup fee and no minimum contract.

Changes to your site

Small changes are included in your monthly price. Larger pieces of work, such as a full redesign or significant new features, are quoted separately and always agreed with you before any work starts. What counts as a small change versus larger work is simply whatever is agreed between you and WebDeck.

Cancelling

You can cancel anytime, just tell us. Your service continues until the end of the month you've already paid for, and is not renewed after that. Once that paid period ends, your site will no longer be hosted by us and will go offline.

Refunds

Payments are monthly and not refundable in part. If you cancel partway through a month, you keep the service until the end of the period you've paid for, but we don't give partial refunds for unused days.

What you own

Your website and its content belong to you. Your domain is registered in your name. If you cancel, you're free to take the full website build with you at no cost, so you can host it elsewhere if you wish. We build and host the site for you while you're with us; ownership of it stays with you throughout.

Availability

We'll do our best to keep your website online and running smoothly. We can't promise it will never be briefly unavailable, as occasional downtime can happen with any website, but we'll deal with any problems as quickly as we reasonably can.
